Traci Tucker

Originally from small town Crofton, Maryland Traci grew up and knew the film industry was where she wanted to be, and that meant a move to New York City.

Traci graduated with honors from New York City based Wagner College with a B.S. in Arts Administration and has since worked for several media entertainment companies including Authentic Talent & Literary Management, Focus Features/NBC Universal, 20th Century Fox, among others.

At Wagner, Traci was an active member of the Kappi Pi Art Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society, and Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society, which awarded her the ODK Exceptional Service Award.  At Wagner’s annual Senior Awards Dinner, she was the recipient of the Undergraduate Merit Award, which recognizes outstanding service, loyalty, and dedication to the Wagner College Community.

After spending six years in New York, Traci was ready for a new challenge.  She was awarded the Garrick Scholarship at Edinburgh Napier University to pursue a Masters in Screen Project Development abroad in Scotland.

To support her studies Traci worked as a waitress in a well-known media hangout, the George Hotel in Edinburgh where she was fortunate enough to meet BETWEEN WEATHERS director Jim Brown, “I saw various papers on the table with Jim’s B4 Films logo and I struck up a conversation which has lead to my involvement in this amazing project.”

Jim said, “it really shows that this business is all about being in the right place at the right time.  We just happened to be sitting in Traci’s section of the bar.  She noticed the scripts on the table and was not backwards in coming forward, and I am so glad, her contacts in the States have been great and her ideas on casting have been at times inspired.  I am delighted that she has joined the Between Weathers team.”

BETWEEN WEATHERS marks Traci’s first venture into feature film casting.  “The characters in BETWEEN WEATHERS are so rich and layered – that the interest we are getting from actors around the globe is staggering.  The final cast will be an ensemble of great Scottish and International talent.  Their efforts, and the efforts of the collective team, will bring Scottish filmmaking to the forefront and center attention on the Shetland Isles; attention that they so greatly deserve.”

Over the next few months we will be looking for cast and crew members for Between Weathers and we would encourage anyone interested to get in touch by joining us on Facebook, following us on Twitter, registering on the website at, or emailing Traci directly at
