Scots acting star Colin McCredie joins cast of Between Weathers

Scottish stage and screen star Colin McCredie is delighted to have landed a part in feel-good comedy drama Between Weathers, which starts filming in Shetland later this year.

Between Weathers Director Jim Brown of B4 Films who are behind the movie is a big fan of Colin and had been keen to secure him for a key role.

“I am so pleased that Colin has agreed to play the part of Roddy in the movie. He is an exceptional actor who I know will make the shy and tactless Roddy leap from the page.  His performances in Shallow Grave, Small faces and of course Taggart has shown him to be one of Scotland’s best young actors and I am really looking forward to working with him on Between Weathers.”

McCredie, 38, is in no doubt the film is going to be a big success: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining Between Weathers. It’s a brilliant, funny, contemporary and feel-good script. I can’t wait to visit the stunning locations on Shetland and start working with the excellent cast that is being assembled. It is so exciting to be involved with the must-see Scottish Film of 2012.
